The Challenge You'll Tackle
We're looking for an experienced Python Engineer who enjoys building reliable backend systems, solving complex technical problems, and continuously improving the way software is built.
You'll work with a collaborative engineering team on scalable applications while using modern development practices, automated testing, and AI-powered tools to deliver high-quality software.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services in Python.
- Building REST APIs and scalable microservices.
- Writing automated tests and contributing to a strong quality culture.
- Collaborating with frontend engineers, QA engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Using AI tools to improve productivity, generate tests, and simplify everyday development tasks.
- Optimising applications for reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Participating in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical improvements.
- Troubleshooting production issues and delivering long-term solutions.
The Mastery We're Seeking
- 4+ years of professional Python development experience.
- Experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservice architecture.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD workflows.
- A strong focus on automated testing using pytest or unittest.
- Experience using AI development tools in your daily work.
- Good English communication skills.
Skills That Will Set You Apart
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Firebase or mobile backend services.
- Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
